 Responsibilities
  • Standardize and report critical quality metrics across the full system pipeline including manufacturing sub-assembly, system integration, and customer deployment
  • Prioritize and drive system quality and reliability improvements leveraging data obtained from manufacturing, test, debug, and customer reports
  • Work with Systems Engineering and Operations to drive a proactive quality culture in next generation product design definition and manufacturing execution
  • Leverage technical abilities in collaboration with engineering to define critical quality attributes and specifications for critical components and assemblies
  • Monitor appropriate system quality metrics to ensure that acceptable quality levels are maintained
  • Define and implement incoming quality control process for in house manufacturing operations
  • Background and experience with statistical analysis will be valued
  • Work closely with engineering to perform print reviews and ensure appropriate quality specifications are in place
  • Support supplier quality engineering where appropriate to guide and improve our quality roadmap with critical suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Help drive supplier IQA processes to insure conformity to rigorous Cerebras specifications
  • Drive continuous quality improvements to significantly impact system yield and field reliability
  • Experience in establishing ISO9K Quality System and supporting infrastructure is a bonus
Requirements 
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of quality engineering or management experience
  • Ability to find or see clarity and propose action plan(s) in situations where ambiguity exists
  • Strong leadership and practical problem-solving skills with ability to lead, motivate, and influence others
  • Experience implementing quality databases and reporting mechanisms from concept to business adoption
  • Able to work under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines of multiple simultaneous projects and challenges
  • Track record of impacting quality across the full product lifecycle including development, NPI, and product sustainment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to define problem statements, identify root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Strong ability to define and report the right quality metrics that will drive cross-functional resourcing and priorities for system quality and reliability improvement
